This is the 4th apartment we have done for this client. We designed the adjoining apartment about 10 years ago and as luck would have it, they were able to acquire the adjacent apartment enabling us to create one large residence.
Only one wall needed to be knocked out to create this unified space and result in a sun filled TV room, large master bedroom with a luxurious oak walk in robe, guest bedroom and bathroom and separate laundry.
Doors to the laundry and robe were ribbed glass to allow the light to filter into the hallway leading to the guest areas.
A similar palette of materials was used to compliment and harmonise with the existing apartment and the original architecture of the period in a contemporary manner.
